Calculations

Most calculators run locally in your browser. Process simulation and AGA gas-property calculations send the values entered into those tools to the engr.tools backend so the requested calculation can be performed.

Server logs

The web server may record standard request information such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, response status, and request time for security and operational diagnostics. Calculation request bodies are not intentionally written to the web access log.

Third-party requests

The DNS lookup tool sends the requested domain and record type to Google Public DNS. The interface currently loads font resources from Google Fonts. Those services receive normal connection information under their own privacy terms.

Accounts and advertising

The public site currently has no user accounts, advertising network, or cross-site behavioral analytics. Do not submit personal, confidential, or regulated information into calculation fields.
